Broadcast Video Expo
I just wanted to let you know that I will be chairing 3 days worth of seminars at Broadcast Video Expo next week at Earls Court 2 in London.
I will be hosting the Production Theatre from Tuesday the 17th -Thursday the 19th of Feb 2009.
The main session that I am presenting is called ‘Tapeless Made Easy’ and is 45 mins in duration. I’ll be covering a real back to basics theme exploring the benefits of file based acquisition and production and illustrating why it’s safer than tape and also how you can make your production process more efficient as a result.
The sessions are all in the Production Theatre at the following times:
- Tuesday 17th Feb at 13.30
- Wednesday 18th Feb at 16.30
- Thursday 19th Feb at 12.30
In addition I’ll be co-hosting a presentation with a good friend and BBC Top Gear Series Producer Pat Doyle at 12.15 on Tuesday in the Producers Theatre. Pat will be talking us through ‘Managing an Extreme Production’ and he will be sharing with us a case study of the ‘Robin Reliant Rocket’ show that he devised.
