Well that’s Broadcast Video Expo over for another year. Thank you to everyone who came to my seminars.
I was really pleased and pleasantly surprised by the feedback I received at the show. Thank you to everyone who came up and said hello. I hope you all got something out of it!
It was interesting just how much more accepting the wider industry has become of file based acquisition. Even last year people were not so convinced to ‘go tapeless’ but this year the audiences were more focused on the ‘archive’ question rather than ’should we trust solid state?’ - Great news
This got me thinking more widely about what other questions and challenges are facing the broadcast community?
So, I would like to hear from you!
What are the burning issues? What do you need to understand more fully? Is there enough training and understanding of what the implications are for shooting with Solid state media or Professional disc?
